I’m the third owner; previous owner had this car in a private auto collection for about 10 years. This is smooth and reliable as well as the last year Corvette with chrome bumpers and removable rear window. Very clean! Chevrolet V-8 engine, 4-bbl Carburetor, Dual Exhaust • RPO M40 Turbo 400 Automatic 3-Speed Transmission • RPO G81 Posi-Traction w/ 3.55:1 Rear Axle Ratio • RPO C60 Air Conditioning • RPO A31 Power Electric Windows • RPO U79 AM/ FM/ Cassette Stereo Radio • RPO J50 Power 4 Wheel Disc Brakes • RPO N40 Power Steering • RPO T60 Heavy-Duty Battery • RPO N37 Tilt / Telescopic Steering Column • RPO A85 Shoulder Seat Belts Restoration and repair work: • Repainted body in original color, with replacement body and interior chrome parts. • Replacement carpeting and upholstery. • Rebuilt original engine, rebuilt original transmission, rebuilt original rear axle and drive shafts. • Rebuilt complete front suspension system, and rebuilt complete rear suspension system. • Rebuilt complete power steering system, and rebuilt power brake system / emergency brake system. • Replacement fuel system, replacement-cooling system, replaced starter and alternator, and rebuilt vacuum system. • Replacement exhaust system, new radial tires, and trim rings. Detailed restoration repair list: Engine: • Rebuilt original engine 350 cu. in. engine bored .030” oversize, crankshaft .010” undersize. • Changed radiator and installed Milidon hi-flow water pump. • Changed cooling fan clutch, 180degree engine thermostat, radiator hoses and clamps. • Replaced heater hoses and clamps. • Replaced alternator w/ 63amp unit. • Replaced battery and battery cables. • Installed Weiand 8004 aluminum intake manifold. • Replaced throttle cable. • Installed 625 cfm Barry Grant Road Demon tachometer drive carburetor with vacuum secondary and electric choke. • Installed Jegs wet mechanical fuel pressure gauge. • Installed Jegs throttle cable holder and return spring bracket. • Installed MSD Pro-Billet tach-drive electronic ignition distributor. • Installed MSD 6A ignition controller with ignition cabling. • Installed MSD Blaster II ignition coil. • Installed MSD 8.5 mm spark plug cable set for HEI distributor. • Installed MSD plug wire looms and MSD plug wire heat looms. • Installed 14” x 3” K&N air filter element. • Installed 2” Magnaflow exhaust system with stainless exhaust tips. Drive Train & Rear Suspension: • Rebuilt original Turbo 400 automatic 3-speed transmission. • Replaced torque converter. • Replaced transmission shifter cable. • Replaced rear axle gear set with 3.55:1 unit. • Rebuilt original rear axle center unit with new bearings and seals. • Replaced rear axle wheel bearings, races, and seals. • Replaced rear spring with single leaf carbon fiber spring rated at 330 lbs. • Installed transmission oil cooler. • Installed electric cooling fan and fan relay unit. • Replaced drive shaft universal joints. • Replaced drive axle universal joints. • Replaced rear axle suspension bushings w/ polyurethane bushings. • Replaced rear wheel lower connection arm unit with fully adjustable unit. • Replaced rear wheel shocks with Delco Sensa-trak. • Checked bolts and nuts for correct installation and torque. • Steering & Front Suspension: • Change front suspension control arm bushings w/ polyurethane bushings. • Replaced front coil springs with 460 lb. Grand Touring springs. • Replaced front wheel bearings, races, and seals. • Replaced front upper & lower control arm ball joints. • Replaced steering idler arm. • Replaced power steering hoses. • Replaced power steering control valve. • Replaced power steering cylinder. • Replaced front wheel shocks with Delco Sensa-trak. • Replaced anti-sway bar ends. • Replaced tires 235/70x15” Good Year “Eagle 1”. • Replaced stainless steel wheel trim rings. Brakes: • Replaced brake master cylinder. • Replaced front brake calipers w/ stainless steel sleeved “O” ringed units. • Replaced front brake pads. • Replaced front brake hoses. • Replaced rear brake calipers w/ stainless steel sleeved units. • Replaced rear brake pads. • Replaced rear brake hoses. • Replaced rear brake lines. • Replaced parking brake shoes. • Replaced parking brake cable pulley. • Replaced parking brake hardware and cables. • Machined front and rear brake rotors. Body & Interior: • Body repainted w/ War Bonnet Yellow color. • Replaced body chrome parts. • Installed H4 halogen low beam and high beam headlamps. • Replaced AM/FM/Cassette stereo unit. • Replaced front stereo speakers. • Installed rear stereo speakers and speaker box. • Replaced interior carpeting. • Replaced carpet floor mats. • Installed console cup holder. • Installed console center pad. • Replaced transmission tunnel heat shield. • Replace driver exterior mirror. • Install passenger exterior mirror. • Replaced T-Top inner panel.
