| Car history: |
Posted 08/17/2016 The 1975 Corvette was the most popular model sold, by number of units at least, with right under 39,000 units sold. There was only one engine size that year with two different HP ratings with the -L82 model putting out a modest 205 HP. This 1975 Corvette however has had a stronger 350 dropped in making it a much better performer. The yellow paint was a custom blend giving this Vette a unique look. If that isn't enough to separate you from the crowd the added graphics should do the trick. The ghosted in stripes take this paint job to a whole different level. With the exterior looking like it's going 100 MPH sitting there the engine was going to need some attention. The new motor has a small cam giving it a nice lope and good mid range power. The Holley carb not only feeds the small block just the right amount of fuel but are known for being the most dependable. That great exhaust note you hear is courtesy of the full length headers connected to the dual Flowmaster mufflers giving it that classic muscle car sound. Bringing this one off, custom Vette to a stop is the 4 wheel power disc brakes which have excellent stopping power. The chrome torque thrust wheels also give you more rubber on the road while maintaining that classic look. The excellent ride quality has been achieved thanks to replacing all the major suspension components. The interior is in excellent condition with new carpet really bringing it all together. There are definitely other 75's on the market but not as cool or custom as this one. Options on this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette include ; AM/FM/Cassette ; T-Tops, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Telescopic Wheel, Tilt Steering, Leather Interior, and Alloy Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires. |
