| 1969 Chevy Corvette Convertible Red with Black Interior. Automatic Transmission, 350 engine. I recently had the exterior painted Victory Red. Since the car was white prior to color change the doors, hood, deck lid, bumpers, lights were removed so that all crevices, jams would be painted red. I received a call from the shop owner that the shop was closing and he did not have time to complete the job. So as the car stands now it has recently been painted but not all the exterior parts have been re-attached. Car was complete and running prior to painting, see picture when car was white. At the same time the interior color was changed from saddle to black, carpet, seat covers, seat belts are brand new. Some of the Interior dash, door covers also need to be reinstalled. Many new parts in box, convertible top, power antenna, brake master cylinder, headlight rebuild kit, door locks, door handles etc. Includes a black vinyl removable hard top. Odometer reads 56,000 it is not the actual mileage. I believe the engine is not the original engine. I have been told it was not the original engine but have never verified myself. I have owned the vehicle for 9 years and have garage kept it seldom driven just taken out mostly to put on new muffler, tires etc. I have approximately $22,000 into the vehicle. The car does run as it stands just the lights need to be re-installed before it can be street driven. The main parts are present to re-assemble the car. The difficulty I have had is missing nuts, bolts,screws. For example the gas door could easily be re-attached. I just have not found the 4 small bolts to do it with. $15,500. May 29, 2011. |
