1978 Corvette coupe fresh restoration with tons of money spent. New 350/290 hp GM crate motor . I am selling for a friend and will try to answer all questions promptly. Has rebuilt transmission, new suspension from Mid America, chrome a/c compressor and master cylinder and brake booster. New fan blade and belts. There was a conversion from manual to power windows and side pipes added from Mid America also. There is a photo of side covers which are included with sale. Brand new glass T tops from Corvette Central, original tops included with sale also. As you can see all rubber is as new and a Leather interior has been added. The side door panels are also redone. From what he has told me he invested $40,000 in car but realizes he will have to take a bath. Basically you are buying his toy which he put his heart and soul in. There is a fresh paint job which is very nice. I heard car run and it is strong and tight. So if this year is your dream, you can't build it for asking price. He tells me the title reads exceeds mechanical limits and was replaced. Odometer when engine was replaced read 18457 and now reads 23881. So approximately 5,000 miles have been put on new engine. As you can imagine, car is stored in dry climate always. I'm sure there is more he has done. It's a nice clean car that can be driven anywhere.
