This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe has been expertly restored with over $70,000 spent in order to return it to like-new condition. Originally ordered through the P.X. by a Vietnam serviceman from Alabama, he decided to have the car professionally restored a few years ago. Unfortunately, he passed just before it was completed, so his wife saw that is was properly finished in his honor. Finished in Classic White with red interior, this rare Corvette was optioned with the highly desirable 390-horsepower 454, backed by a rock-solid 4-speed manual transmission. Perhaps one of the most unique features of this gorgeous Corvette is actually a feature it lacks, as it is a true radio delete car. It has never been drilled for an antenna, and it also lack the ignition shielding that would have otherwise been fitted around the distributor. The numbers matching 454 rumbles with authority and the four-speed really makes this car the total package. The care and expense poured into this uncompromising restoration is evident in every detail. This is truly one of the finest 1970 Corvettes to be found anywhere.
