| 1969 Motion Corvette... Over the years I have owned numerous documented supercars including Baldwin Motion and Motion Performance corvettes. This one I personally found in a warehouse on Long Island not far from Motion Performance. If you know about Motion Performance cars then the picture that I have attached will certainly get your attention. The photo is of the car back in the day in Long Island. You can see the New York plate and the hood sporting the SS427 Motion hood. The hood still shows the custom enterprises sticker from Long Island that made all the GT parts for Motion. The car also sports the same old tires that are in the picture. The car was modified with all the Motion parts and equipped with the most high performance engine that I have seen in all of my documented Motion cars. It will only run on 110 octane or better and it is just scary. The car is almost complete, honestly I have just lost interest at this point. The car is available to see for any serious buyers. As for any questions you may have regarding Motion/Baldwin. There is truly only one person that can answer any question regarding his Performance Shop and his association with Baldwin Chevrolet. Joel Rosen can still be contacted at 1-800-866-3172. The car is a late production corvette so any NICB/Shipping info was not reported by GM. You can validate this with the NCRS. GM/Chevrolet was concerned with shipment of new 1970 models. I have pictures of the tank sticker showing no info except some hand written numbers. This car would be the Holy grail of 1969 Motion Corvettes in my opinion. There are few true ones still known to exist and this is by far the most powerful 69 corvette ever produced by Motion Performance. 37,318 miles from the odometer. $69,750. March 9, 2015. |
