Car history:
This is a nice looking nice running Vette. I take it out once a week for a ride. Never gives me a problem. Two winters ago I replaced any rubber bushings or steering components needed. Rotors, pads and calipers. New distributor so the factory tach would work. Its a Mallory. New Edelbrok Carb. Maybe driven 300 miles since I replaced all the items. I also detailed the undercarriage. Speedo works, odometer does not. So mileage unknown. 1970 350/300 engine, 400 turbo trans with B&M shift kit. 3:08 Posi. Car has antique registration so there is no inspection. The registration is transferrable to new owner for a 1 time fee of 75.00. This makes the insurance dirt cheap, like around a hundred bucks a year full coverage. The headers have minor leak at collector. Window regulators need grease because they squeak. Paint has some stress cracks here and there. The Rally wheels have the rare spinner center caps. If you want a show car, this isn't it. This is a nice driver. Not a rat by far. The pictures are fairly accurate as for describing it. Engine is tight with no unusual noises, no smoke . Tranny shifts instant . Oil is red. The brakes need bleeding. Everytime I have it on the lift nobodys around to help me do it. The pedal is good but there is a slight pull when you first hit them. I just dont have the time to work on it. I have 5 trucks to keep on the road. It has the tilt/telescopic steering column which makes it much easier to get in and out. The car has always been garaged. Looks good for 38 years old.
