1980 Chevrolet Corvette L-48, Automatic Transmission, White exterior, Black interior. First off, this car is fully owned by me. No liens or loans. The car is available for showing, test drives, you name it. I work a basic 9-to-5, but can be available whenever you like, so just call and I'll provide the address. This isn't what I'd call a 'project car', because it's driveable now. The car does need some work, but I'm still driving it back and forth to work 20 miles round trip when the weather permits. It's a really fun, one-lane, 55 mph drive through cow- town, Indiana. I don't know if this is rare or not, but I'm going to take the step of posting my phone number here in the ad. 248.444.7194. I want this auction to be for serious bidders only, so please read this and call with any questions you may have. I will do my best to provide any answers that will help. For payment, I will need a $400 down payment within 24 hrs of the closing of this auction, using paypal. The rest will need to be cash only upon pickup of the vehicle. The car is also for sale pickup only. I will work with you to get it on whatever schedule fits you. I set the deadline at 7 days, but that's for payment. I have room for the car so the 7 day pickup is flexible depending on what you need. I have an all-positive rating, and I've sold many other things here, including a different vette, a 1982 that I had when I was in college, and motorcycles. The pics show as much as I could think of, but feel free to ask for more in any specific area. As for the car itself, this is the low down. It needs work on the interior. If you look at the pics, you can see that the driver side needs help. the seat needs to have the foam and leather repaired and the carpet needs help on that side too. The paint is about a 10-footer. There are a few scuffs, and a few scrapes, but no real body work is needed. The mechanicals are good, but not great. The engine runs strong and reliable, but I think it needs a more trained person than me to bring it to a 'like new' state. The mirrored T-tops are good. I bought a new set of trim but haven't had time to put it on. That will come with the car. I have freshly polished the wheels. There are a few things that don't work, like the oil pressure gage. But so many things do, like the rear defrost, heat and A/C. The radio is a sony from best buy. It's just a basic CD headunit, and it reads mp3- CDs. I installed the front I/P mounted and rear speakers too. I believe the rears are shown in a pic. I'm no expert, but I believe the speakers are 4x6's in the front and 6x9's in the back. They're nothing special, but they sound good, and can be heard over the wind at highway speed. Again, please only bid, call, or ask for a drive if you're serious.
