Car history:
2) This is a beautiful car. I purchased in September of 2013 and have had an on frame restoration done. New carpets, seat covers, door panels and some other improvements inside keeping original except for the radio. 100 per cent repaint taken down to the fiberglass. I don't have current pictures of underneath but it is very clean. Not even sure if I want to sell it, just listing to see interest. I literally drove it the first summer after buying and it has been in the shop the past two years being repainted and parts needing replaced, replaced. Been gone through completely mechanically by a seasoned Vette mechanic at a Chevy dealer. looking for any issues and no major work had to be done at all. Emergency break, some bushings. Have all receipts for all work done as well as parts. Car is beautiful and drives great. May need to sell in the spring for personal reasons. I am at a wait and see. The right offer I may let go. I am not a car guy (mechanic) but have always wanted a 69 Vette since growing up. Have had 6 other Vettes including a 94 ZR1 and this by far is the funnest car to drive. Now don't get me wrong, the ZR1, my 2nd Vette was freaking awesome, but this is a classic!
THIS IS A 5 SPEED! Previous owner installed a Tremec transmission. Makes it so much more enjoyable to drive! That to my knowledge is the only part of the engine and that is not original. Other than that original motor. All equipment is full functional. I also have a HARDTOP with storage roller and cover.
Mileage is under 54k. I will work on getting more pictures, especially of the undercarriage which is in excellent condition. Actually has original spare still! I believe car originally from AZ or CA. I bought from a dealer in AZ. Let me know what you want to see and I will get it on the listing. BiN $42,500 but reached $27,500 (RnM) on December 24, 2016. BiN $39,750 but reached $27,500 (RnM) on January 5, 2017. BiN $38,500 (Ended) on February 26, 2017. BiN $35,000 (Ended) on May 2, 2017. BiN $32,500 (Ended) on May 9, 2017. BiN $32,500 (Ended) on June 5, 2017.
1) This Corvette is equipped with its original 350-horsepower, 350-cubic-inch V8 (L46 engine), however the 4speed manual transmission has been replaced with a Keistler 5speed, which has the added benefits of improved gas mileage, and comfortable cruising at modern highway speeds. The engine runs strong and smooth, and the car starts, drives, and shifts very nicely. The BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires are fitted to Rally wheels with stainless-steel trim rings. The factory Black interior is in good condition, with no rips or tears in any of the upholstery or trim. All of the instruments work, and all of the dash and instrument lighting works well. The interior appears to be original, but may have been refreshed over the years. The white vinyl convertible top is in excellent condition, the plastic back window is crystal clear with no hazing or visible scratches. The chassis, suspension, shocks, and exhaust are all in good condition with no repairs needed.
Paint is excellent - however there are some small areas of checking in the clearcoat. The car is on a clean Arizona title with the mileage (49,257) marked as (actual) on the title very low miles for its 43-year history, driven on average just under 1,200-miles/year! The car is now road-ready and waiting to be enjoyed and driven. The 1969 C-3 Chrome Bumper Corvette Convertible is among the most rapidly appreciating vintage Corvettes, and all nice C-3s like this one are in demand by collectors. Chassis Number (VIN): 194679S703969. Engine Number: 19S703969. Trim: Z04. Paint: 983. 49,194 miles from the odometer. March 19, 2012.
