Description - 1978 Corvette For Sale Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this Silver Anniversary Edition 1978 Chevrolet Corvette in excellent condition. The Corvette has just under 76,000 original miles and needs nothing. This Corvette is totally numbers matching, with the last 6 digits of the vin, 436134, stamped on the engine pad. As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our cars come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call. Exterior The Corvette’s paint is in fine condition. The paint has a dazzling gloss and smooth finish. This car is in it's original colors as indicated by the trim pad numbers, 13 and 07. There are no major scratches, scrapes, or cracks in the paint or body. This Corvette came equipped with aluminum wheels, which are in excellent condition with a nice finish. The tires look nearly brand new. The frame and everything else on the car is very solid and I have not noticed any corrosion around the "A" pillar. The car looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. Interior The interior of the Corvette is in great original condition. This car is an original Oyster Leather car as indicated by the trim pad number, 122. The seats are in very nice original condition and look in person just as they do in the photos. Also, the seats are original, not some cheap aftermarket replacement. The carpet is in excellent condition and appears to be original. This includes the rear carpet which is often neglected. The car has never been smoked in, there is no ash in the ashtray or aroma what so ever. The dash and center console look awesome and have no cracks or sun damage. The door panels are nice and fit tightly to the doors. Mechanical This car is in excellent mechanical condition. There are no issues with this car and it is essentially 100% turn key. The car is very tight on the road and at highway speeds. It also brakes strongly and perfectly straight. It starts easily, runs well, and does not stall. The car has plenty of power and is very fast. The 3 Speed transmission shifts smoothly throughout the power band. Everything on this car works with the obvious exception of the clock. This includes the air conditioning, gauges, horn, power antenna, and even the cruise control. The headlights go up and down as they should with both the headlight switch, and the headlight override vacuum switch. All of the interior and exterior lights work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car. Overall the Corvette is in great condition. Special and Anniversary Edition Corvettes always draw a premium over their standard Corvette counterparts. Numbers matching and originality are extremely important in Corvette pricing, and as you can see this car very original and correct.
