| Posted 06/20/2019 1975 CORVETTE WITH T-TOP: shinny yellow paint with tan interior looks great on a C3 Corvette. The 350 engine runs sweet, Turbo 400 automatic transmission shifts good, good sounding exhaust, nice glass, gleaming chrome, turn over lights work, cold air conditioning, good power disc brakes, power steering, radio works, speedometer and gas gauge work, good Cooper tires on nice Rally wheels. DO THE HEADLIGHTS FILP OVER AND WORK? Yes! HEADLIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORK! TACHOMETER WORKS! OIL GAUGE WORKS! GAS GAUGE NEEDS A SENDING UNIT (I have one ordered). DOES THE BODY HAVE CRACKS? The body is very good, it does not have big cracks like some do. HOW IS THE PAINT? To my eye, it is good. The yellow shines good, it is not a wavy car, doors and hood close good. The paint is modern base/clear coat paint. I do see some clear coat speckles on the front of the hood on the right side, I do not see them in the sunlight outside, but see them under my bright florescent lights in the garage. Some very small touched up chips. DOES THE AIR CONDITIONING WORK? We have not had real hot day yet, it feels good and cold and past owner said it worked good. HOW IS THE CHROME AND EMBLEMS? Nice! HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Decent interior, seat covers fine with minor wrinkles on the drivers bottom, carpet good, door panels good, underside of T-Top material nice, dash pad does have minor cracks. HOW IS THE GLASS? Good glass, windshield has no milky spots or wiper marks, side window good, they are power and work good. HOW IS THE ENGINE? The small block runs strong, it is clean and has been rebuilt, sounds like a mild cam to me, I hear no knocks or rattles, I see no blue smoke, it starts good and runs very good. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its the very strong Turbo 400, 3 speed automatic. HOW IS THE EXHAUST SYSTEM? Not new, but very good. It has the muscle car sound, loud and deep. HOW IS THE WHEELS AND TIRES? Very good Copper tires mounted on Rally rims, tire size is 225/70/15. CAR RUNS GOOD, DRIVES GOOD AND STOPS GOOD! RON WATSON |
