Car history:
Here is an absolutely gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Corvette roadster in unbelievable original condition. It is a #'s matching 350ci 350hp, factory 4-speed car with both tops. This car is a rare find being that it still retains all of its original paint and interior. This car is as clean, original and documented as they come. Absolutely everything lines up perfect because it has never been apart! This car has all of its original documents from new including the original window sticker, original protect-o-plate, original sales invoice, letter from GM, dealer brochure, radio manual, visor starting instructions, Corvette owners card, original owners manual and manual holder. This is a totally numbers matching car front to back and is loaded with a lot of desirable factory options. It even has a set of dealer installed fog lights due to the foggy driving conditions in northern California. This car was bought new on November 20th of 1969 at Lew Williams Chevrolet Center in Sacramento, CA and was owned by the original owner all the way up until 1989. I have a whole folder of receipts documenting the maintenance history on the car including canceled checks (I know, Crazy). I even have a letter written to the second owner from the original owner, hoping he enjoys the Corvette as much as he did!!
It's loaded with the following equipment:
- 350ci 350hp V8 (#'s Match)
- 4-Speed Close Ratio Transmission
- Soft Ray Tinted Glass
- Deluxe Front Shoulder Belts
- Posi Traction Axle 3.70 ratio
- Auxiliary Hardtop
- Audio Alarm System
- Headrests
- Original Factory AM FM radio (still works)
- Original Rally Wheels
- BFG White Letter Tires
- Monaco Orange
The exterior of this rare car is in beautiful totally ORIGINAL condition. This car still retains 99% of its original paint. It does have a couple chips and flaws in the paint but it is so original it has never even been touched up before. This is an original color coded "Monaco Orange" car that for being all original it looks outstanding. The paint still shines beautifully and really is something you don't see everyday, being original! All the the chrome and stainless on the car is totally original and still looks great. There are a couple of flaws on the rear bumper but are very minor. Everything on the car lines up just the way it did from the factory because nothing has been tampered with on this car as it is ALL ORIGINAL! The frame is 100% rust free and solid as a rock. It's sitting on its original set of rally wheels wrapped with a brand new set of BFG raised white letter tires! The interior is mostly all original and looks just like is did back in 1969. This has to be the nicest original interior I have ever seen. The door panels, carpet, and dash are all original and is definitely something you don't see every day. Both of the seats were redone because of some ware on the drivers seat. All the chrome and stainless in the interior are in perfect show quality condition and show no signs of pitting. The dash is in perfect condition the dash face and gauges are all like new! All the gauges work as they should. All the courtesy lights as well as all the running lights work as they should. All the glass on the car is original and looks excellent. Look at the dash and the steering wheel...not one crack....all original. It also has a brand new black soft top!
Mechanically, this rare 69' Corvette roadster is in excellent condition! The original numbers matching, 350ci 350hp V8 purrs like a kitten and and sounds awesome. The original four speed transmission shifts perfect just like it did back in the day. It still has all of its original California smog equipment. This car has all been checked over mechanically and is ready for the next cruise night or car show. The car has 128K pampered original miles on it. The engine was rebuilt in 1981 at 104,951 miles. It features its original spare and the original jack/tools. The underside is all original and is totally solid. I love driving this car it is so smooth and is just a blast to shift through the gears. It is obvious that this car has been extremely well taken care of over the years. This car has all of its original documentation. This car is nice enough to be judged in any survivor class at any Corvette show. Colors from the trim plate. August 18, 2008.
