Okay, before you blow up our email inbox with, (What Do You Mean rare, They Made 18,648 coupe Corvettes in 1982), well here are just a few facts you may or may not know about this particular 1982 Corvette. As many of you know, 1982 was that last production year for the Series 3 Corvette. It was also the first full model year of Corvettes that were produced in the newly constructed Boling Green Plant in Kentucky. It's true, 18,648 coupe 1982 Corvettes were produced and all were fitted with the same drive trains and transmissions and offered in a wide range of interior and exterior color options. The significant difference on this particular 1982 Corvette is that Chevrolet only produced 723 in this exterior color of Silver Green Metallic and only 257 produced with the Silver Green interior. The remaining 466 Silver Green Metallic Corvettes were produced with Charcoal interior option making this 1 of only 257 ever built. The Collector Edition built for 1982 had production numbers of 6,759 copy's. This particular 1982 Corvette is Carfax Certified with only 3 owners since new.
