Features & Options: L-48 / 350 V8 engine Automatic Transmission Air Conditioning Center Console w/padded arm rest Anti-lock Brakes Rally Wheels Tilt – telescopic Steering Wheel Original AM/FM Radio Dual Exhaust Power Steering Power Windows Goodyear Eagle ST Tires Burgundy leather seats 1975 Corvette coupe, OEM color code 13 – Silver, Burgundy interior, 91k actual miles, Original L-48 engine and Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission. The mechanics of the car are very good. The engine and transmission are great, no leaks and nice performance. Car handles solid, new front tires and rear tires have about 70% tread remaining on Goodyear Eagle ST tires on 15” x 8” Corvette rally wheels. Could use one new trim ring on one wheel as one trim ring is a bit dented up from someone that was not being patient putting the ring back on. Braking is very good, nice straight braking. The exhaust system is very solid, with new mufflers and muffler tips. The underside of the car is clean and I do not see any frame rust. The pop up headlights go up and down, as they should. The windshield and all glass is great condition. Interior is overall nice condition. It looks like all of the interior is original. The seats are the original leather seats, no tears, but there is wear on some of the edges from getting in and out of the car. Not sure if there is a product that touches up these areas, but they are really nice shape for being 35 years old. The dash and console is great shape with no cracks and nice color. The door panels have a few spots where the covering has a chip or small tear from age, again there might be a touch up kit for these type things. The carpet in the front area is very nice and clean with a bit of fading (it is the original carpet), there is a spot behind the passenger seat that is discolored. The interior windshield pillar trim pieces have some cracking and the top tips are plastic and have broken off from age. These can be purchased in most of the Corvette online parts/accessory sites. It has the original steering wheel, which is in great shape. The body is the original silver color and has a nice shine. There are no dull paint areas. It has very nice front and rear bumpers and has decent base/clear paint. It has a number of paint chips all around the car, most are surface paint chips, and there are a couple tiny gouges marks from older body work . I do not see any cracking or checking in the surface. If the car were wet sanded, 2k primered, block sand, and then new base and clear paint, this would be a knock out beauty.
Things that I know that do not work are: the switch that runs the interior heat/cool/vent fan does not work. Not sure if it is the switch or something else. All of the Air Conditioning components are in place, but since the previous mentioned switch does not work, I cannot tell you if the AC blows cold.
The original AM/FM radio always powers up but does not work great. Sometimes it finds stations and sometimes not. It might work better if it was taken out and cleaned/sprayed with electronics cleaner.
This was my Dad’s car, and he left it to me this past spring. I do not have the space to keep it and would like to see it go to a home where it would be appreciated. If the buyer needs assistance in shipping the car, I can drive it to the shipping depot pick up location if it with 30 miles of zip code 45069.
