Car history:
2) I'm selling a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Ttops Coupe. This C3 Vette is painted in Monaco Orange and really makes the car stand out from all the rest typical Corvette colors that you will find at your local car shows. The paint shines nicely with normal wear but by no means a show or museum quality but is worth showing off at the local car shows and local cruises. The does run and drive but has been sitting for quite sometime now and will need a fresh basic tune up. I've started doing some things like change the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap but do to my lack of time I didn't get to fully finish it, I had the carb and oil change left to do. The car has a 350 Chevy motor and a Th350 automatic transmission. It does have a newer 4 barrel Elderbrock carb with electric choke. The interior is nice but does show signs of wear on the passenger seat and a little on the drivers seat (see pics). There is a small crack in the windshield its been there for the whole time I had the car, I was going to change it at first, but didn't because it never spread beyond what it was. It was barely noticeable and didn't bother me. The headlights used to go up and down, don't anymore not really sure what it is. A few people told me that the rubber lines that get hard overtime and break. So there might be a leak somewhere. I just usually lift them manually and they work fine. The car does come with power steering and a new alternator. Overall this is a nice driver C3 chrome bumper Corvette that are only going up in value and demand. Sold for $14,500 on October 17, 2016. Sold again for $12,500 on November 22, 2016. Sold again for $12,700 by just4me777 (Englishtown, NJ) on December 26, 2016. for sale again for BiN $15,500 (Ended) on January 14, 2017. Sold for $11,600 on January 29, 2017. Sold again for $13,700 on February 12, 2017.
1) This is a 1969 Corvette Stingray with a 300hp 350 engine, T-tops and removable rear window. The car was originally gold but was repainted Gray with marone trim in the early 1980's. The finish is completely worn out and needs repainting. The body is in good shape with only minor damage to the front fender. I have owned this car since 1984. I drove it on a regular basis until 2003. I stoped driving the car when a leak developed in the rear brake caliper. I had planned to restore the car but decided to sell instead. The Engine was rebuilt in 1983 and has approximately 30,000 miles. The engine runs well but because of the brakes it is not driveable. I checked and it looks like the trim plate was removed when the car was painted and never put back on. 47,983 miles from the odometer. June 8, 2010.
