| Car history: |
This car was my baby. It started out built for the track and later became a pro touring car project. It had a stroker motor which was nitrous powered. It now has a 350 4 bolt main which has a high rise intake plenum by Edelbrock, 650 carburetor, new HEI ignition, 11 mm wires going to platinum plugs, fuel pressure gauge with inline and electric fuel pump, mild cam, Flowmaster 40 series catback with 2 3/4" exhaust pipe all custom bent. Car has a/c but I believe freon is low. It now has california style lights instead of pop ups. They are much more attractive and efficient. KMC billet wheels that are 17" front 18" rears. Rear has 4.10 gears, a smooth shifting 3 speed trans that is track worthy. The car has been lowered 3 inches all the way around. The car was painted jet black by pro comp of cape coral about 5 years ago. It does have some minor scratches and chips. The tail lights have been upgraded to the bubble style tail lights. The interior has all pro comp gauges inside with custom billet dash pieces made by a good friend of mine at his custom shop. The battery has been relocated behind the seats. The car originally had all white interior. It now has black leather interior and new black carpet with fresh black door panels and new black visors. There are a few things that the car needs. Its not finished, its about 80% complete. It could use a good tuning, power steering pump (it leaks I checked its $50) it also needs the door locks fixed neither door locks but it has 3 kill switches on it. It will need an antenna (if you put a stereo in it). I will include a combo switch and a wiper motor. It needs the speedometer (auto meter) hooked up. I will also include the Michelin sport tires with the car which are 90% good. It has nitro nt555r drags on it now for the track. I had a custom fuel cell put in it built by one of my local custom shops with a working autometer fuel gauge and an intank electric fuel pump. I forgot to mention it has long tube headers. The car sounds amazing. Your neighbors will be annoyed or impressed. I tried to fix all of the wiring that had been done by a shop which I was not impressed with. It works, just not attractive but works make no mistake. This is not a lemon or junk pile by any means. I'm only selling because I'm trying to make my Camaro SS a 9 second car and make more garage space for my motorcycles. Yes the car runs but do to the fact its set up and aligned for the track I would not suggest trying to fly in and drive it home. The rpm at 60 is 4,000 rpm its built for the 8th mile or cruising the street. The nitrous gauges will not be included. |
