| Car history: |
| Well preserved 1971 Stingray T-Top purchased from renowned ProTeam Corvette Sales in Napoleon Ohio on July 13, 2009. The car only had 41555 actual miles. This fully documented one family owned car was ordered brand new from Dave White Chevrolet in Sylvania, Ohio back in 1971. Warbonnet Yellow (Gold) and has the deluxe black interior, standard Corvette 350 small block engine, and the four speed manual. Original paint, interior, engine compartment, chassis, and drivetrain. This car is documented with the window sticker, warranty pamphlet/P.O.P., dealer invoice, dealer bill of sale, vehicle inspection procedure sheet, owner’s manual packet, and miscellaneous maintenance receipts. The original corvette order copy from atop the fuel tank located and secured. This tank sticker was barely readable and well weathered. Pristine order copy folded into a small square tucked just above the speedometer located and secured from behind the dash. Original radiator replaced with an aluminum black painted version from DeWitt’s, and it runs much cooler in the Florida heat. I have replaced the hoses, belts, and one motor mount. This car runs and drives excellent. This Corvette has nice patina of the original paint, interior and engine compartment. Car is in great overall condition, but there are scratches and/or chipped paint on various parts of the car, including inner corner of T-Tops & Gas Cap area. |
