| Car history: |
| My brother bought the car in 76 in Omaha Nebraska and moved/drove it to California in 77. Wouldnt pass emissions in late 77 so was parked. He stored it well and started working on it to get legal but mostly by taking it apart. His wife died, he never had any kids and after 30 years decided he had had enough and was moving back to Nebraska. I offered to buy it on payments and get it shipped and we agreed on $3000. After a few weeks he felt guilty about its condition and dropped it to $2000. It arrived back in Nebraska at midnight on Fathers Day in 2007 and have been working on it since. When my brother found out it cost $1400 cash to get shipped he started shredding my checks. Cheapest third owner Corvette purchase in history, a whopping $600. Its mine now. 68,000 original miles. |
