| Car history: |
I have decided that I don't have time for my Corvette and have decided to sell it to someone who does have the time to finish it. It is a 1978 Corvette Silver Anniversary with the 2 tone silver paint. It came factory with the L-82 engine, but the original engine is no longer in it. It does have a running 78 era 350 4 bolt main. The car is a factory close ratio 4-speed and a 3.70:1 rear end ratio. It came with oyster colored leather interior. I had this car inspected and it passed in Collin county Texas in 2008. I drove this car quite a bit before taking it apart to get ready to be painted. I had it media blasted through these guys: http://atozsodablasting.com and have been working and the final stages of hand sanding before starting to paint. I have too many irons in the fire at the moment and decided some need to go. I have all the pieces of the exterior and interior. The interior is in boxes and the small hardware is in labeled baggies. The bumpers were is great condition when removed, but after storing them, it looks like they took the shape of how they were in storage. I have added a picture of the rear bumper. It was not hit, just deformed. I'm not sure if these can be repaired. I really hate to sell it, but hopefully this car can become a fun project for someone else to take over. I'm not interested in trades. I can take pictures of anything requested and answer any questions about my Corvette. Thanks for looking, Steve
