| 1972 Corvette Stingray Convertible with A/C RARE red with red interior, with white soft and its original red hard top that has never been painted was not painted when car was restored but is included. The car came from South Georgia so rust was not an issue and it does not appear to have been in an accident. This car underwent a nice frame off restoration in 1999 and finished in 2000 with over $23,000. spent on restoration, a receipt book showing everything that was done during restoration is included. The Turbo 400 transmission and rear end are numbers matching and original to the car. The 350 engine in the car is the correct year for the car however the number are not matching. The car was always stored inside only been drove to car shows and cruise ins. This is one of the best driving and running cars I’ve ever driven. Power steering and power brakes work great. Everything works including headlights, all gauges, all lights, including interior lights and horn, radio and even the original clock still works. The paint on this car is beautiful only showing very few imperfections. The only thing I think this car would need to be a real nice show car is both door panels they are showing some age. The engine compartment and underneath both look really new. It has been kept clean and really taken care of. I have driven this car enough to feel it could be driven anywhere. the car has 350 engine with a Turbo Hydro-Matic Transmission, PS, PB, AC and the original auxiliary hard top (convertible), heavy duty delco battery, AM/FM radio. The colors are correct for this car RED,RED with a WHITE convertible top. I also have a book containing all the receipts for the restoration, no other paper work. Colors from the trim plate. 89,403 miles. March 17, 2008. |
