Purchased 11/23/2017 Rebuilt (Car had a good body and frame is solid, had no previous records, so I just about replaced everything, so I knew the car was not going to leave me on the side of the road. It appeared that the previous owner before the last owner had good intensions but ran out of money to do a complete proper restore. They left off many an item or did throw it together with whatever was handy. When redoing items I used the assembly manual, proper fasteners, and proper torque. car is original/repro using mostly parts from Corvette America, Ecklers, Keen, Corvette Pacifica and eBay along with other sources. I did take the liberty to use SS fasteners where they would be subject to the environment. Converted to electronic ignition, rebuilt shifter, new shifter boots top & bottom, new Holley 4BB carb, new intake manifold, rebuilt trailing arms, half shafts & drive shaft rebuilt, new SS brake calibers & pads all around, new front and rear sway bar and spring bushings & hardware, new P/S Pump, P/S cylinder, Water pump, all heater/radiator hose along with new 3 row aluminum radiator and mounts, rebuilt starter, replaced all vacuum lines for headlights and heater system, rebuilt rear plenum, new blower fan and cage, new heater core and gaskets for heater box ,engine harness, new clutch, pressure plate & throw out bearing & arm along with pivot, Z bar rebuilt, new clutch rods & springs, new Dash harness, front light harness, new Bluetooth radio, new speedometer, new speedometer cable & bullet with gear, new tires, restored jack, restored tire carrier & new lock, new dimmer switch, new brake light switch, all missing odds & ends, bumpers, new seals on doors etc., new top, repro front header, conv frame powder coated, with new weather strip & hardware, seats powder coated frames/tracks/under mounts, new springs, new foam, new covers & hardware, new SS emergency brake system & shoes, removed most old rivets and replaced with new pop rivets, cleaned and restored all items taken off the car. Rebuilt #3 door pillars welded new inserts cleaned and preserved, birdcage is in good shape some rust along passenger side rocker, #1, & #2 mounts in good shape little to no rust cleaned it up while I had the dash out, new #4 mounts L/S & R/S, all mount hardware replated, replated all hood hardware (CAD), NOS L/S radiator support, new TCS switch & harness, rebuilt door hinges both, sprayed interior of frame with Eastwood Rust Arrestor, any item taken apart, cleaned/plated or painted, used new repro hardware or had replated to reassemble, Removed all bumpers and repolished chrome removed rust from inside & sprayed with rust arrestor, new repro front bumperettes, removed front bumper support & lower cross member support cleaned and repainted ,new nose support rod, rebuild windshield washer pump along with new hoses to arms & reservoir. Car has a new nose however when it was swapped out they did not bother adding various tabs and clips back from the old nose. |

2) Matching Numbers 350 V8 4 Speed Transmission. Paint is fresh and glossy. Top is in good shape although it looks like a previous owner replaced the rear plastic window at some time. Tires are like new 15 BF Goodrich. Trim rings are in perfect condition. Exhaust outlets are new. Rear Bumpers are in good condition but do have scratches. Front bumper is in very good condition. Car starts right up and runs well. Outside door handles and outside mirror are new. Both outside locks and the ignition lock have just been replaced. One key operates all these locks. Headlights, wipers, and turn signals all work just fine. (Windshield washer doesn't work). All gauges work except the clock. Dash looks to be original and is in excellent condition with no cracks. It is the actual dash, not a cover. Console is in very good condition. Absolutely no rust on the frame. Frame looks to be in perfect condition to me. Previous owner replaced windshield. Driver seat is in perfect condition. Passenger seats has a very small hole. Carpet is in excellent condition. According to previous owner - car had a frame off restoration with all suspension parts either rebuilt or replaced. Brakes, gas lines, and brake lines have all been replaced. I have no receipts to prove this but the underside looks like it may have been a frame off and it's very clean under there. The spare tire carrier is missing. Emergency Brake does not work. Hood currently on the car is a one piece hood - original hood was replaced. The switch on the driver side that operates the door ajar light is missing. Exhaust bezels should be replaced and are pitted. Center Arm Rest has a small crack. Radio is AM/FM and looks to be original but doesn't work. The top snaps onto the rear deck but the pins that go into the deck should be replaced since they are wearing out. These are cheap to buy. I just never got around to it. Just had the steering repaired but mechanic states that upper steering linkage is slightly bent and should be replaced. 36,596 miles, but odometer is broken I always assumed it worked but I just went for a drive and it didn't change so it doesn't work. Color codes from the owner. Built date is B10. July 13, 2010. $14,600 (RnM) on April 23, 2017. $15,050 (RnM) on May 15, 2017. $15,450 (RnM) on June 12, 2017. $12,500 (RnM) on July 3, 2017. 1) Matching numbers 350 V-8 4 speed manual transmission convertible. Original factory color of Yellow, black interior w/white top. The paint is fresh and glossy and the top and interior is in very good shape. The car has had a frame off restoration with all suspention parts either rebuilt or replaced. New BF Goodrich 15' tires. The crome is all in good shape without any pitting but does have a few minor scratches. The brakes, gas & brake lines, exaust all have been replaced. New door mirror and door handles. The transmission shifts fine though a little loose, the clutch is good and the car has a new windshield. The headlights, wipers and turnsignals all work fine. This car has a clear Ohio title but came from Michigan and the miles on a Michigan title on any vehicle over 10 years old all show EXEMPT so the odometer miles we feel are accurate and original we are selling TMU as we do not have documentation to support. We do not have any repair history or original paperwork on the car. This is a car that any Corvette owner wold be proud to be seen driving. 36,596 miles. March 25, 2008. |
