| 1) Early build date C05 (October 5th 1967). Paint code 974 Rally Red with STD Black Vinyl Interior. Same owner for almost 25 years, Always Garage kept, I am selling this for a Friend who does not have access. We do have clear title. Around 2015 the original 327 engine developed a problem and was pulled and owner had a new 383 stroker 400hp with a Holley 650 Carb installed, MSD ignition, Sorry the old engine was scrapped. At same time a center force clutch set up was installed. This car is fast!! Owner believes this is a M22 4 speed. Hooker header side pipes, front and rear sway bars, drilled and vented rotors and calipers. Aluminum Radiator, Convertible top was installed in 2007. Factory Luggage rack, Car has a kickin stereo system! Car comes with the factory hard top with black vinyl covering and ceiling hoist. Paint shines beautiful with some imperfections, not sure how old or when it was repainted. I included a picture of the drivers side door that has a chip and is really the only bad spot visible. Chrome bumpers shine nice. Car is a no option car, No power steering, No power brakes, No Power windows, No AC. Car starts right up and runs real strong. Owner states he recalls having car up to 110 mph and said you can burn rubber in all 4 gears, I don't doubt him! Things I see: Drivers side seat back at the rear push button has a little tear. Carpet appears original, Paint has a couple chips, see picture, trim around steering column is missing. Some surface rust on headers at sidepipes. Heat is not hooked up, owner said it never was since he owned it, never needed it. Windshield washer portion of the wiper motor is missing so I did not try the wipers. Owner also never needed to use the wipers but we believe everything works as it shows. No bid at starting $10,000 on April 23, 2018. |
