Posted 08/11/2016 I bought it as a project car and just don't have the time to devote to it that I should. This car has a Torquer II Cam, Holley Carb, Edelbrock air intake and headers. U-joints have been replaced and it has a new gas tank, straps, and sending unit. New rear bumper. The carb has been rebuilt. All hoses and seals have been replaced over the past 3 years. Numbers don't match; I planned on putting an LS engine in it. A/C unit is present but currently not hooked up. Just replaced the fuel pump and filter. The car runs but not for long distances... There is something going on with the carburetor and I just don't have the time to tinker with it to figure it out. There are no cracks in the vinyl seats, headliner or dash and no tears in the carpet. All gauges work (except the clock, which technically works twice a day, haha). The hood is slightly misaligned from the last time it was removed for work, but it will line up perfectly when it is adjusted. It really is a great car and will be beautiful once it's restored, it's just not fair to have it sit in a garage when someone else can enjoy it. |
