Red exterior (originally Ontario Orange), code correct Saddle leather interior, White convertible top. Numbers matching 270hp 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear-end. Features include air conditioning, power steering, custom interior trim, tilt-n-tele, Hooker side exhaust, Hurst shifter, power windows, luggage rack, AM/FM radio. Originally assembled on June 22, 1971, this 1971 Corvette Convertible comes with the desirable 4 speed manual transmission, as well as air conditioning, and power steering, among other features. This car's paint and bumpers are in overall good condition. Convertible top is in avg condition with no rips or tears. Side glass shows correct date codes. A vintage aftermarket swing- up style luggage rack is present, as well as vg rally wheels with good-vg trim rings and center caps. BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires show nearly full tread depth remaining at an average of 11/32nds. The interior of this 1971 Corvette Convertible shows good condition leather seat covers, gauges, steering wheel, and dash pad. Correct cutpile carpet looks to be newer, and is vg. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place, and a pair of vintage Pioneer rear speakers has been added, along with a Hurst shifter. The numbers matching engine in this 1971 Corvette Convertible shows original casting date June 11, 1971, and final assembly date June 15, 1971. Correct air cleaner and intake manifold are in place, and Hooker Super Competition longtube headers and side exhaust have been added, along with a chrome water outlet, and LT1 style valve covers. Suspension has been completely rebuilt with all new poly bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar bushings and end links, adjustable strut rods, inner and outer tie rod ends, rebuilt power steering, and monoleaf rear spring. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition. |
