| Project car approx. 60 % complete, to remove rust used all new parts or blasted & painted. Car was stripped bare to frame, then frame was acid dipped to remove rust, then was epoxy painted & rustproofed inside boxed portion. Car has all new chassis parts new; offset trailing arms, axle bearings, rear end housing, carbon fibre leaf spring, shocks, coil springs, tie rods & ends, steering box, gas tank & more. Body was stripped to bare fiberglass, repaired, primed, & sealed have most of the new body gaskets. engine was top half rebuilt & lots of shiney added, new engine wireing harness, new aluminized exhaust system. Project was not given up on, due to death in family, had to move to smaller house with no garage & recently lost indoor storage. The dirty part is done, perfect project for someone who loves to tinker. I have all the original parts shrink wrapped labeled and boxed & some new uninstalled parts, plus factory assembly manual. Haven't worked on car for about 3 years, might be a little dusty and have a few cobwebs but in good shape was building for driving not for show. August 17, 2010. |
