| Car history: |
| This is a 1970 Corvette convertible (with both tops) that has been sitting in storage for 25 years. It is in very good original condition. The frame is rock solid (truly amazing). I bought this car from an estate and have been surprised at what great condition it's in. It shows 44,083 on the odometer and I feel certain it would be 144,083-- however, I could be wrong. It appears the car may have originally been orange. 1970 was the last year before GM lowered compression for its cars to run better on unleaded fuel. I feel certain this is a numbers matching car but, if someone could e-mail me where to look, on the engine, I would greatly appreciate it. It could be that this is a 350 with 350hp... This is an incredibly solid car that would be so easy to restore. The speedometer guage and others are quite clear and in excellent condition-- the photos, of them, are not accurate). $9,700 and running. June 5, 2014. |
