2) What I have here is a low mileage ( documented by previous owners title copies statement from 2nd owner) survivor L71 corvette a rarity in the C3 Corvette realm, on at least two levels. One, it’s a ’69 435 hp coupe with the MA6 heavy-duty clutch option (102 total made for ’69), which is scarce enough. But two, this is a Judged Bloomington Certified Survivor car in 2009 scoring 4 out of 4 for being original, essentially in original condition from bumper to bumper. Still sporting about 90% of its fathom green paint and black leather interior as factory installed more than 40 years ago. This collectible coupe is also equipped with tele/tiltwheel, tinted glass, PS and F41 heavy duty suspension. With fewer than 40,000 miles, this ’69 is authenticated with lots of Real Doc's, original protectoplate, and tank sheet, original sales invoice etc, + all the owners alive to talk to today. After being in a 30 + year hibernation, this L71 corvette was put up for sale by the 2nd owner who purchased this car in 1974 from the original owner who took delivery New Years Eve 1969. Both fellows still live in up state NY. Only reason this car was offered for sale by 2nd owner in 2007, he had two major brain cancer operations and the family needed the money. 3rd owner bought this car and sent it right to a shop called Corvette Repair in Valley Stream NY where corvette GURU Kevin McKay who is considered by most a corvette expert fixed a small body damage from being instorage and also got this beast running like a brand new 435 from 69. In Kevin's words to me, you simply can't find them like this anymore and is a super rare and original car. Now knowing this car was built very very late 12/69, this could possibly be the last MA6 L71 corvette to be made. How is that for being collectible rare. Runs like new and shifts perfect, no noise in anything. All the gauges work nice and the original radio sounds perfect. After seeing all the bogus1969 L71 corvettes out there today, heck for that matter all the bogus cars going through the big auctions, this car is a Blue chip investment. When have you ever been able to call the original owner from the sellers house and talk to him about one of rarest L71 corvettes from the shark era? Documented car with REAL DOCS and owner history that has won the Bloomington Gold Survivor Award!!! Had a Few emails from people saying how beautiful a survivor car this is and "thank you". That's what makes this car different. Ebay: xramcamaro2 from NJ on January 9, 2012. 1) RARE...Heavy Duty Clutch car that was just awarded the Bloomington Gold Survivor Award in June. The car runs, rides and drives very nice. The 39,710 miles are documented and original. The factory leather interior is beautiful, as is the factory original driveline. The car also has the factory dual-disk heavy duty clutch it was born with at GM!! The 435hp 427 is strong and tight and pulls hard. Very late car built in mid-December 1969 and picked up by the original owner New Year's Eve. Documentation includes: Warranty Card (Protecto Plate), Original Dealer Sales Invoice and the Orginal Tank Sticker!!! Also have the Owners Packet with radio instructions, wheel instructions etc. Options listed on the Dealer Invoice and Tank Sticker are as follows: Genuine Leather Seats, F41 Special front and rear suspension (original epuipment still on the car), 3:70 Positraction rear axle, Transistor Ignition, 427/435 hp motor, RARE HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH (only 102 produced), M21 4-speed, Tilt and Telescopic wheel, Power Steering, Alarm System and AM/FM radio. Corvette Repair of Valley Stream, NY did a repair to the left rear corner of the car and I've tried to show that in the photos. The car has never been in an accident...a roof beam fell on the left rear corner in storage. This is definitely an investment vehicle with low miles and strong documentation!! All prior owners are available to speak to...including the original owner that ordered the car new!! $65,000. 39,710 miles from the odometer. Color codes from the owner. Built date is Q11. August 11, 2009. |
