| Car history: |
I'm selling my always garaged, black on black 1978 Corvette. I am the third owner of this vette. The car currently has a 383 stroker powering it, but this sale ALSO includes the original, rebuilt 350 engine and original rally wheels! Details below.
Engine w/ only 5,538 miles: • Built 383 Stroker (synchronized and balanced) • Double pump 750 Holley carburetor • Edelbrock intake • Competition crank • 278 cam • Eagle rods • Flat forged pistons • Roller rockers • Manley Pro Flow valves
Transmission: • Rebuilt 3 speed automatic • 2000 HoleShot torque converter
Misc: • Original 350 engine on the side! • Original rally wheels! • New paint job • 355 rear end • 4" stainless exhaust w/ Flowmasters • Straight pipes w/o catalytic converters • New rotors (less than 5,000 miles) • New calipers (less than 5,000 miles) • 35% window tint • + T-top and car covers
Wheels and Tires: • Boyd Coddington Timeless 5's • Nitto NT555s (less than 5,000 miles) • Front - 245/45ZR/17 • Rear - 275/40R/17
This Corvette is mechanically sound and runs great! The paint job is relatively new (less than two years old) and only has a couple noticeably minor flaws (one small scratch and chip near the front bumper - I have pics). The rebuilt original engine has a 268 cam in it. The weather stripping is getting old and sometimes allows a few drops from the t-top when it rains. One of the original wheels is missing its center cap ($15.99 from Ecklers). The only real thing I didn't get around to was replacing the interior; it is original and fairly worn. There isn't a radio/cd player in it, but the sound from the exhaust is music to the ears and sounds like a classic vette should!
Shipping: The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements.
