Mecum bought it from a bank in Chicago, IL that had foreclosed on it from a Donald Betz. I drove it from KC to Des Moines, IA (no problems, runs like a dream) then tailored it to my house in Otley, IA. My plan is to detail out the motor (needs a little elbow grease, air intake hose, valve cover gaskets…….). Try and get a little more shine out of the original paint (has ware from a bra, and slight oxidization on horizontal surfaces). Fix the dash lights (can’t get them to come on).
