| Car history: |
| 1968 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is a numbers-matching example that was sold new at Aaron Chevrolet Company of Salisbury, North Carolina, in September 1968. Prior to 2020, a refurbishment that included a repaint in blue over a reupholstered blue vinyl interior was completed. Protect-O-Plate, an owners manual, and a clean Florida title. Tinted windshield is a replacement, and the vacuum-operated windshield-wiper door is inoperative. Post trim, the rearview mirror, and the covers on the backs of the seats are missing, as are the compressor and condenser for the factory air conditioning. Protect-O-Plate and associated warranty paperwork indicate that Aaron Chevrolet Company placed this car in service on September 23, 1968. |
