Car history:
2) Description: You are looking at a big block Powered 1969 Chevrolet Corvette painted in a gorgeous gold. (originally a gold car) This car screams the 70s with its custom Interior. We recently replaced the front calipers, master cylinder, brake booster and brake pads. The whole front suspension is new. This is an excellent conversation starter and it sounds unreal. Those Chrome Side pipes emit heavenly sounds. Take a look at the gallery and picture yourself riding down the road in this bad girl!
Interior: The interior shows very well; it has been updated with a 70s style flare! The velour Interior really throws you back in time. The speedometer and tachometer work, as they should. All the Center gauges are operational, minus the Clock. The gas gauge works, as I found out first hand empty means empty during the final test drive btw the radio sounds great!
Exterior: The exterior is in great shape. The gold shines nicely. Please take a moment to look through the gallery of photos. There are small imperfections but overall a very nice driver quality car. Tires have plenty of tread, and those side pipes look as good as they sound.
Drivetrain: Powered by a 454ci BIGBLOCK she runs excellent. One click of the Key and she is alive. Prior owner states the motor was freshly rebuilt, and the exterior appearance of the engine inclines us to believe so. The front suspension is all new, along with the front brakes, brake booster and master cylinder and brake pads. Oil is fresh along with the coolant. Transmission shifts as it should and it feels like it has a 2K stall converter. Cruises nicely at freeway speeds.
Key Facts: 454 big block, Recent service, New front suspension and bushings, New Brakes, MSD ignition, Vintage Interior, Mean sounding exhaust note, Keystone Classic wheels, Beautiful Steering wheel, Headers and side pipes. BiN $26,500 (Ended) on September 7, 2017. Sold for $17,551 on January 23, 2018. Sold for $21,900 on February 12, 2018.
1) 1969 gold on gold Chevrolet Corvette with a LS6 454 and automatic transmission. The numbers on this car DO NOT MATCH. The odometer reading is 72,446 miles, but a new engine was put in during the early 1990's. This car has been stored indoors for the last 24 years and only been driven roughly 7,000 miles since the motor was replaced. The motor was built by a local speed shop and puts out about 510 HP. All front suspension parts have been removed and powder coated and reinstalled with new bushings and hardware. There is a transmission fluid leak that is believed to be just from a leaky gasket on the pan and the windshield wipers do not work. Exterior has excellent paint. Colors from the owner. Built date is Q17. 72,446 miles from the odometer. August 19, 2009.
