| 1979 Chevy Corvette. Original L-82, 4-speed. Does NOT have original engine or trans in it. Now has a 73 350 4barrel and 65 Muncie M20 4 speed transmission. 3:70 Posi rearend. Car runs real strong. Car needs: paint, (checked on top sufaces) original black, now has bad gun metal gray paint. Seat covers are cracked, carpet is bad (oyster interior), A/C not working, compressor is off car but I have it, speedometer not working-speedo head making noise, I unhooked it. 140 speedo. Park brake not working but all new parts to repair are included. Power locks inoperative but do lock manually. Center part of lower front spoiler missing. The Good: Frame is solid. All original brake and fuel lines are clean. New power steering control valve, right upper control arm bushings, idler arm. Front end tight. Could use alignment now. Newer front brakes with calipers. Hurst shifter. Power windows work good. Glass is all intact. All guages including Tachometer work. Glass T-Tops. Tilt/telescope column. AM/FM CD player. Wipers work. Heater and controls good. Has sidepipies, chrome flaking off covers. A solid car that needs some TLC. Priced to sell! Where can you buy a running driving classic Chevy musclecar with a four speed in the $5,000 range? Sold as is-no warranty. |
