Car history:
The Chevy Corvette had a major body change in 1968 which continued through 1983. Of these the 1969 seems to be the most popular. The body was styled for speed. To reduce required HP at 120 mph fender vents were added which reduced it from 210 to 175, and the chin spoiler reduced it to 105 HP needed. This Corvette is a very fine example of this style Vette, and is not only beautiful but very fast. Options: removable rear window, 350 C.I. with 4 speed trans, Non matching numbers car, Block has been changed seems to be from a 70-71 Chevy. Has corvette top end & related parts changed over. Motor runs very strong, when you get on it, it goes. New Quadra jet carb. Stainless steal brakes. Worn driver’s side carpeting. Interior in very good shape, small tear on driver’s seat. New upper & lower ball joints. New idler arm & front sway bar bushings. Recent front brake job Tack drive distributor was rebuilt. New distributor shaft tack drive gear & drive, bushing/coupling. Newer stock exhaust. Had recent complete tune up. New u- joints in both half shafts & drive shaft. Rear wheel bearings checked & are OK Car was re-painted 2 years ago, OK with some over spray. 14,000 miles. Colors from the owner. November 25, 2008.
