| 2) 1968 Corvette Coupe Project Car, 4spd, pw/ps, not original motor, frame has some rust (repairable) in front of the rear wheels, passenger side frame rail has a hole about the size of your fist, drivers side frame rail has a rust spot about the size of a silver dollar but is not rusted through. Core supports seem to be good, windshield posts appears to have some surface rust but no rot, runs and drive but needs a complete restoration in and out. This will make a nice driver when done or possibly drive while you restore. August 25, 2009. 1) THIS CAR IS A GOOD CAR THAT DOES NEED RESTORED. THIS CAR HAS A 1972 CORVETTE 350 ENGINE. THE CAR DOES START AND RUN AND WILL LOT DRIVE. THE HEAD LIGHTS GO UP WITH A LITTLE HELP, DOWN WITH NO HELP. I HAVE NOT CHECKED THE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION TO SEE IF IT IS CORRECT, IT DOES SHIFT GOOD AND SEEMS TO BE FINE. THE CAR HAS 15X8 RALLIES WITH ALL CENTER CAPS AND TRIM RINGS. THIS CAR IS COMPLETE WITH THE DASH BEING UNCUT AND ORIGINAL. THE FRAME IS SOLID EXCEPT WHERE THEY ALL RUST, THIS ONE HAS A VERY SMALL SPOT ON THE DRIVER SIDE,(1 TO 2"), THE PASSENGER SIDE IS ABOUT AS BIG HAS YOUR FIST. A LITTLE LARGER THAN THE DRIVER SIDE. THE CORE SUPPORT IS VERY SOLID AND DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE ANY RUST. THE PAINT CODE IS 033 AND THE TRIM IS STD BLACK. THIS CAR DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE EVER BEEN BUSTED UP. IT HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL FRONT END AND QUARTERS. HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL SEAMS. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is I08. 66,796 miles. July 16, 2009. |
