| This 1971 Corvette "StingRay" with T-Tops and "Numbers matching Engine and transmission". This has the 270HP 350 engine and Turbo 400 Transmission. The Corvette was just painted jet black and has been done VERY well, but it could use a few places touched up though. The engine runs strong and was just rebuilt. The interior is excellent and is only need of a radio. The undercarriage on this car is in "Excellent" condition, there is not rust to speak of, the body mounts all look good but it has not been restored at all, so it carries the dirt from 45,000 miles. Now for the not so good news, when the engine was installed many of the wiring harness wires were cut and are a mess, it would be much cheaper to put a new wiring harness in than figure out the one that is in there. Most of there interior lights work and none of the guages are working at this time (this is back to the wiring issue, not because the gauges are broken). As you can see in the pictures, the front bumper is off but we DO have it along with the side vents and front grills. It does need one front grill bracket though. The hood latch cable is not working properly and one hood pin is missing. It would not take much to make this car perfect. Engine code is CJK-V0817. Color from owner. 45,000 miles. May 3, 2008. |
