This car is a rare find being that it still retains most of its original paint and a laser straight virgin body. This car is as clean, original, and rust-free as they come. Absolutely everything lines up perfect because it has never been apart or hit. This car has all of its original documents from new including the original tank sticker, original manuals and brochures, and a stack of paperwork dating back to the late 70's. 1972 is the last year for the chrome bumpers front and rear and really is the end of the classic C3 body style. Finished in a very rare original color of "Sunflower Yellow" makes this Corvette a collectors dream. This is an original color coded "Sunflower Yellow" car that for being mostly all original looks outstanding. The paint still shines beautifully and really is something you don't see everyday being original! All the the chrome and stainless on the car look excellent and shine bright. Everything on the car lines up just the way it did from the factory because nothing has been tampered with on this car it is ALL ORIGINAL! The overall panel fitment on the car is excellent and all of the door shut with ease and deckid, hood have even lines all the way around. This car is 100% rust free from top to bottom and all the metal on the car is original. All the factory bonding strips are present and really prove how original and virgin this car is. The original color coded "black vinyl" interior has been recently resorted and features new seat covers, door panels, carpet, top and weather stripping. This interior is very impressive and really looks beautiful with the yellow exterior. All the chrome and stainless in the interior are in great condition and show now signs of pitting. The dash is in perfect condition the dash face and gauges are all like new! All the gauges work as they should. The original am fm radio has been swapped out with a later model one that works excellent but I do still have the original AM FM radio that came with the car originally (nothing was cut and can be installed with ease). All the courtesy lights as well as all the running lights work as they should. All the glass on the car looks excellent. Look at the dash and the steering wheel...not one crack....all original Mechanically, this rare 72' Corvette roadster is in excellent condition! The original numbers matching, 350ci 200hp (CKW suffix) V8 purrs like a kitten and and sounds awesome with just recently replaced correct chambered exhaust exhaust system. The original four speed transmission shifts perfect just like it did back in the day. This car has all been gone through mechanically and is ready for the next cruise night or car show. The odometer reads 63,000 original miles, yes ORIGINAL and documented. The trunk is all original and features its jack/tools. The underside is all original and is totally solid. I love driving this car it is so smooth and is just a blast to shift through the gears. As you can see from the pictures the underside of this car is very clean and under the hood is very correct (correct manifolds, all original ignition shielding present, air cleaner, ect) and very clean. I have a huge stack of registration cards for this car dating back to 1975 from California as well as the original California pink slip that shows the original blue plate tag number. All in all this car is an excellent example of a clean original car that has never been abused or stripped of its original parts.
