I am the second owner of this beautiful car. I purchased the car from the original owner. Paint is in very good condition, as is the interior. New parts on the vehicle include a new starter, exhaust manifold gaskets, tires, front and rear brakes and alternator. It has received a recent tune up with all new plugs, cap and rotor, filters and hoses. It is completely 100% original, with the exception of a new paint job performed about 5 years ago. The interior carpet, vinyl, etc is in excellent shape. The top of the dashboard is flawless with no cracks or sun damage. All glass is perfect. All weatherstripping is perfect and there are no leaks into the interior whatsoever. There are no issues with the body. There are no cracks anywhere on the body and it has never been in an accident. Being the car has been operated in California it's whole life, there is no rust on the car's frame, underbody, suspension components, etc. Also, being a California car, it has all of the smog equipment intact, so it passes the smog check with flying colors. I'm am very particular with my cars, and there are just a few things that eventually will need attention on the car to make it nearly perfect.
- The belts will need to be replaced soon as they make a bad squealling sound when started on a cold morning
- The power antenna doesn't move, probably because it has a really cheap radio in it
- The drivers side door lock has gotten dissconnected somehow, so you have to unlock the car from the passenger's side
- The A/C has a newer compressor and is full of R134A, but the mode switch in the dash needs to be replaced because it leaks air which prevents the compressor from engaging.
- The lower cushion of the driver's seat has 2 tears. I didn't replace it because it is the original interior for the car, and the tears aren't that bad.
- A piece of clearcoat has chipped off the paint below the right fender vent, hard to notice and about the size of a dime.
These items listed are really minor, but I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to cars. The car drives great, with no sounds from the suspension. It shifts smoothly and the engine runs really smooth. It's an all around great car, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country. The only reason why I am selling it is because I have 5 cars, and I really don't have anymore time or garage space for the car. I have the clean California title in my possesion.
