Posted 02/21/2016 Extremely Rare Special Ordered Black Paint - 1 of 1? Here is a beautiful, #'s matching LS4 454ci Big Block 1973 Corvette Convertible in excellent condition inside and out. This is an extremely rare and possibly a one of one built car. It was special ordered from the factory in Black with a special number on the trim tag. As you may not know, they never offered black as an option in 1973. This may be the only factory ordered Black 1973 Corvette in the world. It has its original, #'s matching LS4 454ci 275hp engine with an automatic transmission and factory air conditioning. It was purchased from the original owners estate about 3 years ago in Carmel Valley, CA. This car has been lightly restored over the past couple years but it remains very original for the most part. The car looks, runs and drives fantastic and is nicely equipped. This little Corvette really needs nothing and is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Clean, rare Corvettes like this don't come around to often! It's loaded with the following equipment: LS4 454ci 275hp Engine (#'s Matching) Automatic Transmission Factory Air Conditioning Power Brakes Leather Deluxe Interior Luggage Rack Rally Wheels AM-FM Cassette Radio It has beautiful Black paint job on the car. In the jambs it still retains its original paint to show it was special order in Black. The trim tag shows for paint 400IXA, which I have never seen before and makes this car extremely rare. The body is very straight and looks to have never been hit or hurt before. It has a very nice look!! It has a very nice black leather deluxe interior and it looks excellent in the car. Everything is in working order included the air conditioning which blows ice cold. It also has very nice black soft-top. Mechanically, This Corvette runs and drives excellent. It has its original #'s matching LS4 454ci engine and automatic transmission. Under the hood is all stock and original. The air conditioning system was just gone through and blows ice cold. This car is ready to be driven anywhere!! All in all, this is a beautiful and very rare 1973 Corvette convertible that is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
