It sat for several years without being driven. The car came with the 350 /300 HP engine and was told it is the original engine but about 5 years ago the engine was rebuilt and the block was shaved so there are no numbers on front of block. There is a number I was told on back of block but I honest can't see it so I don't know if matching numbers engine or not for sure. The paint looks to me like it is 95 percent original paint. If it has been painted since new it was over 30 years ago. The paint is decent but is showing it's age but we buffed it and it looks a lot better. The color is Marlboro Maroon paint code 975. The engine runs strong. The Turbo 400 transmission shifts out good. It is a factory power steering and power brake car. It has 4 wheel disc brakes. It is also a factory AC car. It has nice but not new chrome bumpers and has the rear luggage rack. It also has both the hardtop and soft top. The interior is black and in good condition. That is the original interior color. All the gauges appear to be working as do the interior lights, exterior lights, dash lights and tag light. The wipers work and the headlight doors open up like they should. The Corvette Rally wheels look good and the tires are in good shape. We just put new Flowmaster mufflers on it. The miles I again was told to be actual miles but again I cannot say that for sure. Overall car is in good shape. |
