| Hi, my name is Mike. I'm selling my 1980 Corvette because I have a child on the way. I have owned this car for about 7 years. I bought it from a lady that went through a divorce out of Tulia, Tx. It sat in an old shed for a while. I had the car towed to my house and needless to say I've worked on the car to bring it back to life. It would be a great hot rod for someone who doesn't want to have to work on one. Starting with the interior, it's in fairly good shape. It is complete with minor blimishes. All the gages work and even the lighter works. It has the seperator in the glove box. Next, the exterior, the paint is custom and the color is called competion red. Like any Corvette, the body is fiberglass, so it has small cracks. The hood is after market with a 4 in cal. It is black because I chose to paint it that color, but it can be easly changed. I also have a front bumper to replace the old one, but it needs to be painted. The front tires are new BFG's. The rear are what you would call a cheater slick to help with traction. Then the drive train, the rear end is stock with a 373 gear and a factory posi-track diferential. The transmission is a turbo 350. It was rebuilt about 6 years ago with aftermarket performance parts with above factory specs. The convertor is stock for street performance. The engine is a 350, bored 30 over which makes it a 355. It is a single piece rear main, standard crank, standard rods and forged flat top pistons so that it will accept nitrous. The heads are aluminum, trick flow, twisted wedge with 205 valves that has been ported and polished with big runners. They have ARP screw-in studs topped with 1.6 roller rockers. The cam is a roller cam with hardened push rods. The intake is a performer rpm. The carburetor is a Holley 750. The distributor is an after market DUI. It has also been converted to an electrical fuel pump. It has headers with 4" collectors and a Borla exhaust. I really don't want to get rid of this car, but seeing as I have a child on the way and there isn't a back seat I need to. My wife and I are going to miss the days when we would take the t-tops off and drive around all day. I just hope the next owner will enjoy it as much as we have!
