| Leather Interior, Power Windows, Standard Trans, Tilt /Telescopic. 1969 Corvette Big Block Everyone has a Dream… this was mine. I purchased this car almost 4 years ago after a horrific snowmobile accident. It was supposed to be my get-well present to myself. After many years of surgeries on my left leg, I am still unable to really drive the car properly. A gimpy leg and a clutch do not mix. I think my leg has more metal in it than the Corvette does. Here is the scoop: The car is an older frame off Restoration. Approx 7-8 years. As you can see from the undercarriage pics, this is a clean rust free Montana car. Nothing like you would find on the coasts. The car is an original 427 390HP 4 speed. The owner before me yanked the 427 and put in a new Crate 454 HO Chevy motor. It is 425 HP. It still had the Plastic wrap on the intake, and the tag saying how to break in the Camshaft. I am betting there is less than 500 total miles from me on this car. The transmission is still a 4 speed. I am not sure if it is a M21 or M22. I am just not sure. Car runs on 4 brand new BF tires. They still have the nipples on them. Rims are Centerline Dragsters. The convertible top is the original 69 top. It needs replaced as it is showing its age. Car is super sharp looking. It turns a lot of heads. 59,382 miles from the odometer. May 4, 2009. |
