| Car history: |
You are looking at a 1976 Chevy Corvette L82 project car. I purchased this vehicle with the intentions of restoring it and due to many other projects and obligations, I am no longer going to be able to continue.
The car has 74,??? original miles. The car was originally metallic brown and at sometime was painted white. It has a brown deluxe interior package with leather seats, tilt & telescopic steering, a turbo 400 automatic transmission and a 210 horse power 350 motor. The vehicle was in running but not driveable condition when parked; however, I was able to move it in and out of the garage on it's own power. Some items have been removed and I am no longer able to start it. Parts that were removed were the fuel tank, exhaust and the complete interior. When purchased the car did not have brakes, so I purchased a brand new power booster and master cylinder, but this is not installed. The interior has some items that need to be replaced such as the carpet, upper dash pad, center console and maybe a few other odds and ends. The car does have power windows, power brakes and a/c. When parked, all lights, turn signals, windows and gauges, etc. were in working order. However, one headlight was slow opening and the clock worked when I tapped on it, but then quit.
The car will need some fiberglass work done on the driver side rear quarter panel - it was this way when we purchased the car.
I have most of the interior parts in boxes that are not shown in the pictures.
From what I can tell, the numbers on the block correspond with the VIN of the car.
The frame does have a few spots of rust that need repaired, but these are very small spots. The driver side floor pan will need replaced as it is rusted thru and the passenger side floor pan has one rust spot about double the size of a quarter in the seat belt pocket area. The door seals and T-top seals will need replaced. This does not have a radio, but it does have the amplifier.
When I purchased this car, it was sitting for the previous 10 years in an enclosed building. This car will need to be trailered when picked up, as it is not driveable at this time.
