Added to Registry 08/08/2013 Mileage: 105,400 miles Date Code: F25 (06/25/1970) Finished in "Cortez" silver over original black leather interior, this C3 Stingray features a freshly rebuilt 370+ horsepower 350 engine [not matching numbers] mated to the four speed manual transmission, all new four-wheel non-power disc brakes, manual steering, updated stereo [PLUS the original radio], a/c parts ready for reinstall, factory T-TOPS [with storage pouches] AND removeable rear glass window and rally wheels with excellent Goodyear polysteel radial tires. The working five-digit odometer shows just over 5,000 miles which is told to be 105,000 original miles. The engine rebuild has less than 500 miles total for certain! This very nice 43 year-old specimen is being sold with clear and clean California title with 2014 California registration. Overall this is a VERY nice driver-quality example! THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this car is in excellent, not-quite concourse show-quality. The silver paint was redone at some point and overall VERY nice. I would rate it as a solid 8 on a sclae of 1-10 with a deep lustrous gleam and a few small nicks, blemishes and imperfections including a slight cracking on the top of the two front fenders and some scratches on one of the t-top panels. THE INTERIOR The interior of this car is in very good to excellent condition overall. A solid 7+. The dash and windshield are new, the carpets look to have been redone at some point. The A/C components have been removed but are included with the sale of this car [see extra photos]. The original black leather shows wear and tear as does some of the little trim tidbits. Overall the cockpit of this car is quite presentable with all working lights, horn, blinkers, gauges and controls [except for the clock which keeps perfectly accurate time only twice daily!] The old-style digital stereo will not be winning any audiophile awards! THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Stingray is a very nice and truly satisfying car to drive down the open road with excellent acceleration, fabulous sounding V8 engine with that perfect exhaust note, superb rattle-free suspension and excellent braking and tracking!
