| Car history: |
Imported into Australia in 1989, the Corvette was subjected to a nut and bolt restoration using a replacement chassis and professionally converted to right-hand drive at the same time. The body was carefully stripped back and a later-style front clip fitted, then repainted in the current red color scheme. Mechanically, the Corvette is basically stock apart from the engine being taken out to 380-cid. The rebuild took four years to complete and the Corvette was finally back on the road at the beginning of 1994, before being sold to the next owner in 2005. Further work included sorting out the steering in 2005, along with a tune up and sorting out the electrics. The Corvette has been kept garaged and under a car cover. Included in the sale are four original spare wheels and tires, along with a box of assorted spare parts. To be sold registered in New South Wales.
