10/01/2014 1973 Corvette T-Top Stingray Sport Coupe Rare L-82 4-Speed car with Factory Air Conditioning and other options Real L-82 car as the fifth digit in the VIN# is a T which designates the L-82 Fully restored and documented car with the original build sheet, warranty book, original owners manual and plastic sleeve it came in, original sales brochure, trim ring instruction card on wheels, original maintenance schedule book, assembly manual, shop manual, recent appraisal at over $35,000, some previous owner title history, original Corvette News magazines from 1973, NCRS Shipping Data Report, and many receipts that was spent on the restoration of this car. This Corvette is a very nice restored car with show quality paint, all new Al Knoch interior including seats and seat foam, carpet, and complete door panels. All seat belts are intact and the original shoulder belts have been restored to. The car sits nice, all gaps and panels fit very well, and the car drives out smoothly, shifting great, and plenty of power. Everything is working on the car including the clock which has been rebuilt and the speedometer was replaced and the miles that it shows is since replacement. All courtesy lights, headlights, heater, defroster, and a/c are working however the a/c blows in all speeds but is not ice cold. I do have the original speedometer and it does go with the sale of the car. The car has been driven less than 2,000 miles since restoration back in 2005. All of the gauges, dash pad assembly, kick panels, rear storage tray, all look fresh and nice and need nothing. The window glass in the car is nice as the windshield was replaced with the restoration. All exterior paint is excellent finished in base coat clear coat in Corvette Red with Medium Saddle Vinyl interior. The front bumper is nice and fits well onto the car. The rear bumpers have been rechromed and show well. The car does have new redline radial tires with rally wheels and the trim rings and center caps are as new. The car does have a spare tire and wheel, jack and lug wrench, along with the leather t-top storage bags and a nice padded color matched arm rest cushion. The car is a numbers matching car and the engine was rebuilt in 2006. The car does have the correct cylinder heads, carburetor, intake manifold, and transmission with the VIN# still stamped on side of maincase. The engine compartment is complete with all ignition shielding, air breather, valve covers, underhood insulation, etc. There are receipts as well on the suspension being rebuilt, new control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, new body mounts, new stainless exhaust system with aluminized mufflers, new correct exhaust bezels, new license plate bezel, front grill, emblems, new clutch, new wheel bearings, shocks, tachometer cable and gear, headlight actuator, and the list goes on. All of this is documented in the portfolio that goes with the car. This Corvette has been is Missouri the past 10 years. I have known the past two previous owners of the car which were avid Corvette enthusiasts. The chassis on the car still looks good, not perfect but still very presentable only showing minimal driving. The frame is solid with no rot or rust. Must see to appreciate car.
