| 1972 frame off restoration. I bought this car 07-2005. Previous owner had car well documented with pics but wouldn't give them to me. Frame was sandblasted and primed/painted, new paint (paint & interior matches #'s), fuel lines, brakes, brake lines, master brake cyl, starter, shocks, battery (6mo),carpet, horn, rebuilt engine(40 over) and transmision, AC compressor, rear new not rechromed, door weather striping. All work (lights, wipers and over rides). Items not right with the car; AC evaporator (I disconnected heater and blowers), radio not original nor hooked up, clock (surprise!), front bumper not dented but small scratches, paint is a 7 from 1-10 (not show qlty but a head turner), drivers door panel is cracked at arm rest, console between seats small scratch, passenger t-top interior cover has crack, I accidentally scratched paint on pass t-top - had it repainted and not happy with match and am having it redone, t-tops need new weather strip (I never drove in rain or with tops on), wiper tray closes and hits wiper before they are tucked away I use over ride. To my best knowledge this is all that is wrong with car. Car stays in garage and covered 24/7. I have put 7k miles on it in 2 1/2 years. I bought car in WI and drive it back to Florida, great road trip. Car has run excellent for me from day one. December 16, 2007. |
