Has spent some time in Nova Scotia, Canada. Seen on 1970corvetteregistry.org, on July 21, 2010. 1970 Corvette LT-1 Coupe. Really clean well running original lt-1 with only 108,809 original miles. This is a documented real LT-1 not a clone. It spent at least 1/2 of its years in Canada and has some Canadian documentation. The original block was replaced in the early 70's under GM warrantee. It is a Chevrolet replacement block indicated with the "CE" engine code. All other parts are the original including the transistorized ignition, Heads, solid cam, etc. The car still has the original heavy duty rear housing that was originally 4:11 but at some point was changed to 3:73. The original carb and exhaust manifolds have been replaced but I do have the originals. It was frame restored within the last 3 years. New paint, upholstery, carpet, tires, shocks, brake calipers. side yokes, rear bushings and upper & lower control arm bushings. Chrome is excellant all around. All gauges work properly, wiper doors and headlight doors work fine and hold vacuum indefinitely. This car is a super nice driver. The only issue with this car is the heater fan. It does not function properly. Otherwise, all is good with the mechanics and electric. Colors from the owner. Built date is F23. 103,789 miles. July 22, 2009. |
