| Added to Registry 07/02/2013 Mileage: 78,172 miles Up for sale is a 1981 Corvette. This car was produced very early in production (the 4th week of July 1981) and was well optioned with desirable equipment. It is in great shape, and drives very well. Exterior: -The car's paint is in great shape, and is in its original Autumn Red on Dark Claret two tone. -A factory original stripe kit is on the car. -All of the panels are original, and fit very well. -The glass is original, and retains the etching and Theft Deterrent sticker. -All of the lights work, and the front headlights go up and down as they should. -A set of mirrored bronze t-tops are present, and have only minor surface scratching. -The tops and the windows provide a seal that allows no water to leak. -The original, optional aluminum rims are present. -The front bumper has a paint chip, along with light spiderwebbing in the center. -There is one chip in the windshield glass. -The frame has hardly surface rust, and absolutely no soft spots or holes. Interior: -The interior is all original, and shows some minor wear. -The carpet is beginning to detach from the left side of the center console. -The carpet show slight discoloration and wear near the pedals. -The seats are in average condition. There is a tear in the passenger seat (upper bolster). -The rear luggage shade, strap and carpeting are all present and in great shape. -An aftermarket radio and power booster are installed. -The A/C and heat work as they should. -The gauges work as they should. Mechanicals: -The car has its original, numbers matching L81 350 cubic inch V8. -The original 3-speed auto is also in the car. The whole drivetrain is original. -The car runs excellent. As seen in the video, it starts quick and runs smoothly. -The steering is tight, and the brakes are responsive. -This car needs nothing but a driver. It has 78,172 original miles.
