| 1979 Corvette. This car is very clean and drives very well. Matching numbers L-48 350 ci engine, original stock carb and intake and exhaust with mild hydraulic cam which is noticeable through the exhaust. Chrome valve covers and air cleaner shine in the engine compartment. Turbo 350 Automatic transmission. New A/C compressor, evaporator and lines with R12. The air is typical for these and doesn't blow lots of air out the vents but it works cold. The correct size Firestone 225-70-15 tires are new on clean factory rally wheels. All the brake calipers are recently replaced along with steel braided lines throughout. The coolant and radiator hoses have also been replaced and the car runs cool. The interior is slightly custom. The seats have been tastefully recovered in black soft vinyl with red inserts. The stereo is am/fm CD with 4 speakers. The windows work great and the T-tops fit tight without rattles. Tilt and telescopic column is smooth. The doors shut like new. The suspension is tight and sits nice. The car has no rust and has a very clean under carriage. This car does not seem to ever been crashed and has all its original body parts. The deep red paint is clean and shines great. There are some small imperfections throughout from driving. Up front on the nose is a custom painted 1969 ZL1 type stripe in black. This car is very sharp and turns heads. It drives straight, solid, and quiet. Overall this car is very clean, and a nice driver or for shows, there are a few small items which will need attention like the clock, horn and dome light. This car is over 30 years old and does have its faults and flaws, so it is being sold in as is condition with no warranty. Item number: 220699942511 |
