| 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L36 427 4-Speed, BODY ONLY, NO ENGINE, NO TRANSMISSION, NO STEERING COLUMN, NO PEDALS. This car originally had A/C. This vehicle is NOT an authentic Baldwin Motion Build; however it is documented as having Motion Performance body parts to clone a Phase III. This vehicle was from an estate/barn find. I have only had the car for a couple of months so I will try to provide as much information as possible and if you would like additional information and or pictures, please let me know and I will do my best to get you the information. I have a clean NC Title for this car. The paint is NOT ORIGINAL. The original paint color was 990 Monaco Orange. The car has 57,378 miles on it . The GM official Production Date was 12/26/68. The original delivery dealer was Dealer code; 460, Zone; 15. The name and location for the dealer was Norton Chevrolet in Philadelphia, PA. This vehicle has the following: Opel Nose Headlights, Fastback Glass, Reversed Gills, Rear Flared Fenders. I am including a couple of magazines that have articles and information about the Phase III, Baldwin Motion cars. I am also including the NCRS Shipping Data Report for this vehicle. I am also including a letter from Joel Rosen, President of Motion Performance Inc. stating that they are firmly convinced (from photos) that some of the body parts were most likely manufactured by them. This car would be a Great Project for Restore. Sold for $7,301 on November 7, 2016. Update, car is being restored to the Motion Phase III GT, original 990 orange with Motion stripes. |
